  • Toby Butler is the Founder, Chair & CEO of 812 Inventions LLC, the parent company of the Dipit® Finger Food & Condiment Caddy. He’s also the creator of Dipit®.

    Toby possesses 20+ years of expertise & experience in intellectual property, business creation, & leadership development.

    With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, he has held key roles at leading organizations including: Verizon, Spectrum, & Heartland School Solutions.

    He successfully leveraged his extensive knowledge of intellectual property to secure multiple patents & registered US trademarks for the brand.

    Toby’s Strategic leadership & innovation continue to drive business growth & brand protection.

    These attributes, a revelation from Holy Spirit & a love for French fries culminated in the creation of Dipit®!

    He earned a degree in Arts & Sciences from Monroe Community College. He also studied leadership development, marketing, organizational management, intellectual property, patent law, business law, & international business at Roberts Wesleyan, Medaille University & Strayer University.

    When Toby is not overseeing the affairs of Dipit®, he enjoys traveling with his wife & daughter, working out, creating music, serving his community, resting, consulting other creatives, laughing & teaching the word of God.

  • Dorian Cromwell is the Co-Chair & Chief Operating Officer of 812 Inventions, LLC, the parent company of the Dipit® Finger Food & Condiment Caddy.

    Dorian brings more than 25 years of experience in imagining science, business development, & leadership, to 812 Inventions, LLC.

    With a distinguished career at Kodak, Xerox, & Frontier, Dorian has leveraged his extensive knowledge of imaging science & design principles to further set Dipit® apart in the marketplace.

    Dorian was instrumental in the development & design of the current iteration of Dipit®. Combining technical excellence with strategic insight he helped to establish the current patent.

    Dorian is a natural leader with strong communication skills. He takes pride in coaching others & helping them to believe in themselves so they can reach their full potential.

    He has a passion for people & is a humanitarian at heart. He enjoys spending time with his daughter, fishing & playing golf in his spare time.

    Dorian is the youngest of ten children & will often spend time with his siblings when he gets a break from business.
